Rekha Thapa is a Nepali actress, model and film maker was born in Salakpur in Morang district of Eastern Nepal. After SLC from school, she moved to Kathmandu for her higher studies. She stopped her study in +2 and moved on film Industry. As she had strong desire to be an actress, she continued to participate in various modelling glances & glamorous programs. She was a top ten finalist for Miss Nepal in 1999. Rekha Thapa worked as a model, and was subsequently approached by the producer Chhabiraj Ojha with a proposal to work in the movie “Hero” with Rajesh Hamal. During the shooting of Hero, Chhabiraj Ojha proposed to her, and the two were married in traditional style.
